Yang Pei Ming who started collecting the posters as a hobby in 1995. It covers chairman Mao’s time and shows the political movements that were taking place during the New China era. It contains over 6,000 collections of original propaganda posters from the 1940s to 1990s. This is a private museum dedicated to collecting and displaying posters. The three-story mixed structure is a French Renaissance garden residence. After the liberation, it once served as the temporary residence of Mayor Chen Yi.
